It's baaaack. Please keep in mind that all thermal pigment breaks down over time. This polish has a shelf life of 6 months to one year. Please consider this when choosing your bottle size. It could last longer, some bottles definitely have. For longevity I recommend keeping your sweather someplace not prone to temperature and light/darkness fluctuations. The best way to use sweather is often! Paint those nails!! :D
(Also feel free to order this polish in a Comet Pack.)
This is v2.0 of this polish! My supplier was unable to obtain one of the raw minerals needed to create the original formula for this polish. I spent many hours reformulating this polish and working to try to make it as close to the original as possible. I feel like the colors are a bit bolder in some ways and a bit softer in other ways than in the original formula, but I really love this new formula. It's every bit as warm, pretty and fun as the original!
This pigment can get "confused" by temperature changes in shipping, please allow 24 hours before using your Sweather after receiving it.
This polish is Vegan.
No matter where I live, every year I get excited for sweater weather. I have a pretty extensive sweater and sweatshirt collection waiting under my bed in a container for the right moment to put back into the closet. Every year I wait and wait for that first crisp day. I'm ready! Those sweaters will be needed eventually.
I'll never forget growing up in the midwest and going out on hikes in the country when the leaves turned orange and red and gold. We would bundle up and head to Carriage Hill Farm to see the blood moon or watch meteor showers while drinking hot cocoa. Fall has always been my favorite. I loved those hikes and nights spent, laying on top of the family station wagon, staring up at the stars, wrapped up in sweaters and blankets.
As soon as this polish was made, it felt so perfect to me. It seemed pretty and cozy and warm and comforting. When hot, it's a rosy pink, when cold, it's a dark periwinkle blue. While transitioning between these colors it's a gorgeous purply gray. Basically, this color feels so cozy to me at every stage, it's like wrapping up in a warm sweater on a cool night. I've added some shimmery holo micro glitter for a bit of extra sparkle.
This polish color can look a lot different depending on number of layers, temperature, nail length etc. As this is a new version, I don't yet have photos of all the states of this polish. In extreme cold, this polish could look very blue, or even teal in extreme cold. In extreme warmth, this polish could look very pink. Sweather v1 had many fun shades in transition where it was a dusty rose color or grayish purple. It could sometimes look orangey, salmon, grey, green, tan, brown...
Sweather can look different in many ways for many reasons. Different nails, different base and top coats, different number of layers, different climates and temperatures. While walking around NYC last winter v1 turned many colors I swear I'd never even seen it turn before. Almost green on the tips and darn near tan/brown on the nail bed. This polish has a mind of its own and it's always an adventure!
I believe this polish applies best in 2-3 layers with a generous layer of a glossy top coat. In the photos above I used three thin layers with seche vite top coat over it. It's shown above on both false nails and real nails. Depending on layers, you may see your nail line through the warm pink color!
What did people have to say about Sweather v1? Check my feedback section! People have a lot of good things to say! I can't wait to get feedback on v2.0!!!
"This polish is so amazing and the entire range of colors are beautiful! I got compliments from at least 2 people per day and directed them here. I was able to wear it two weeks with no problems (a base coat, 3 thin coats of sweather, 2 coats of seche vite top coat). I could keep going but I'm changing it up for Thanksgiving. Stop what you're doing and get this polish now!!!" -Lori M
"I am in love with this polish. I've had other cc polish but none that change so quickly and so well. Ladies don't hesitate."-Headsonv
"My only complaint is that I spend way too much time looking at my hands to check the color! :)" -Amber Artman

I accept major credit cards and paypal! Payment is due at time of checkout. If you pay with an e-check via paypal, funds must clear before Etsy will allow me to print your shipping label. Sometimes this takes a couple of days, but it can take up to a week.
Current turn around time is listed generally at the top of my page and in the shipping information on the listings. Turn around time depends on current order volume and how busy my day job is. All items are hand made by me.
I drop my packages directly at the main post office and my packages usually only take 2-4 days to arrive to you within the US. Please note that shipping to other countries can take 1 to as long as 3 weeks due to international shipping time/customs etc. These things are out of my hands, but your tracking number will keep you updated!
I HATE that I currently have to charge so much for shipping internationally. Please note that I am actually charging you several dollars LESS than what I actually pay for the labels only because I HATE having to make you pay so much and want to give you a break. USPS raised rates this year and I do realize that the shipping costs more than the bottle of polish, but please realize that I'm paying even more for that label.
Let me know if you need a faster shipping method and we can work something out.
